Introduction
The issue of corporate social responsibility is getting more attention as the world is increasingly aware of the threats brought by the problem of global warming and energy depletion. On top of making money, corporation around the world should dedicate its effort to the improvement in areas such as environmental protection, construction safety, human rights, and corporate governance. Corporations around the world started to publish corporate sustainability reports and environment report almost twenty years ago and got lots of positive feedbacks from governments, corporate communities, and the general public around the world and in developed countries, especially. Taiwan saw the same trend in the past decade. The first Corporate Sustainability Report competition held by Taiwan Institute for Sustainable Energy (TISE) in 2008 served as a platform to Corporate Taiwan for opinion-exchange in related areas. Encouraged by the active participation last year, TISE holds the 2nd Corporate Sustainability Report Competition this year to boost Corporate Taiwan's continuous dedication to publishing corporate sustainability report.
In order to encourage and honor corporate dedication to an ever-greener environment and information disclosure in related areas, TISE will confer Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Report Awards to companies that publish excellent Corporate Sustainability Report.
Corporate Sustainability Report Award
Any corporation that is headquartered and operates in Taiwan and has published corporate sustainability report in two years is eligible.
Corporations must provide 10 copies of its latest corporate sustainability report in hard copy and PDF-form and one reference report.
All the corporate contenders will be categorized into either manufacturer group or non- manufacturer group. TISE has the right to adjust the categorizing process if the number of contender is too low to justify a fair competition.
TISE will conduct a preliminary examination on all the corporate sustainability reports before an ad hoc judge committee hold a further review on all the corporate sustainability reports, evaluate them based on an adjusted international standard report-evaluation criterion, and finalize their scores. The list of the final top three and other recognized excellent corporate sustainability report authors will be announced at the TISE website on Oct 30, 2009.

Awards
The top three within each group will be award with a trophy. Other contenders with excellent corporate sustainability report recognized by the judge committee will be awarded with a certificate of merit.

2. Fill out the registration form and send it to service@tise.org.tw
3. Print out the registration form and send it with ten copies of coporate sustainability report to "5F., No.35, Ln. 11, Guangfu N. Rd., Songshan Dist., Taipei City 105, Taiwan (R.O.C.)"
